Reducing material loss in organic fertilizer disk granulator machines hinges on optimizing raw material pretreatment, precisely controlling granulation parameters, and establishing a closed-loop recycling system. These three aspects working in tandem can reduce the loss rate from 5%-8% to below 2%. Specific practical methods are as follows:

1. Proper raw material pretreatment to reduce molding waste: Raw materials need to be crushed to 80-100 mesh to ensure uniform particle size and avoid large pieces hindering molding. The moisture content should be precisely controlled at 25%-30%. Excessive moisture leads to clumping, while excessive dryness makes molding difficult, both increasing waste. Adjust the mixing ratio according to the physicochemical properties of the materials, adding 2%-8% of a natural binder (such as waste protein hydrolysate) to improve viscosity, while ensuring uniform mixing to avoid localized poor molding leading to loss.

2. Precisely adjust granulation parameters to improve molding rate: Rotation speed should be controlled at 5-15 rpm. Too fast a speed can cause particle breakage, while too slow a speed affects molding efficiency. The disc inclination angle should be precisely adjusted to approximately 2.5° to reduce material retention and splashing.

3. Standardize equipment operation and maintenance to reduce material residue: Daily cleaning of residual material on the inner wall of the disc to prevent scaling from affecting material tumbling and forming; quarterly inspection of gears, bearings, and other components, timely replacement of worn parts to prevent unstable speed and increased wear. Train operators to accurately judge the status of fertilizer making machine and adjust parameters in real time; install online particle size monitors and moisture sensors, with automatic alarm adjustment when the proportion of unqualified particles exceeds 10%, reducing ineffective losses.
