Setting up an NPK blending fertilizer produciton line requires following five core steps: site planning, NPK blending machine selection, qualification processing, trial production, and formal production. The specific process is as follows:
1. Preliminary Research and Site Planning
Clearly define the production line capacity (e.g., 50,000 tons/year, 100,000 tons/year). The site selection requires convenient transportation and access to water and electricity. Reasonable flow lines for raw material storage, mixing area, and finished product packaging area should be planned to avoid cross-handling of materials.
2. Core Equipment Selection and Configuration
Match key equipment according to capacity: raw material storage (equipped with anti-caking devices to prevent clumping) + automatic batching system (electronic belt scale/loss-in-weight scale for precise control of N, P, and K raw material ratios) + horizontal mixer/twin-shaft paddle mixer (core mixing equipment to ensure uniform blending) + screening machine (to remove impurities and large particles from raw materials) + automatic packaging scale (quantitative weighing and sealing) + conveying equipment (belt conveyor, bucket elevator, connecting each process).
4. Qualification Processing and Compliance Construction
Complete business registration and fertilizer production license application (submit formulas, process documents, test reports, etc.). Implement environmental protection requirements (dust collection devices, wastewater treatment facilities) and safety production standards (equipment guardrails, electrical explosion-proof modifications). Production can only begin after passing the acceptance inspection by relevant departments.
5. Trial Production and Formal Production
Conduct empty load testing (check equipment operation stability) and load testing (trial production with small batches according to the formula, testing the uniformity and nutrient content of the finished product). Adjust batching accuracy and mixing parameters based on trial production data. After optimizing the process, formal mass production can begin.
