What equipment is needed for bio-fertilizer production?

2025/11/15

Bio-fertilizer production requires core equipment arranged according to the process, mainly divided into four categories:

In the pretreatment stage, organic fertilizer crushering machine is needed to crush raw materials such as straw and manure to 20-40 mesh; screening equipment (vibrating screen, drum screen) removes impurities; and a batching scale accurately measures the raw material ratio, controlling the carbon-nitrogen ratio between 25:1 and 30:1.

Fermentation and composting is a crucial step. A fermentation compost turning machine regulates temperature (55-65℃) and moisture (50%-60%) through regular turning, accelerating composting and sterilization. For large-scale production, sealed fermentation tanks can be used with intelligent parameter control, shortening the cycle to 15 days and reducing odor.

In the mixing and inoculation stage, a horizontal mixer thoroughly mixes the composted material with biological agents (such as Bacillus subtilis) to ensure a viable bacteria count ≥200 million/g; a cooler lowers the high-temperature material to below 30℃ to prevent agent inactivation.

During the molding and packaging process, granular fertilizer requires a roller extrusion granulator (low-temperature granulation) or a disc granulator to produce 2-4mm granules; a low-temperature dryer reduces the moisture content to below 10% to prevent mold growth; an automatic quantitative packaging machine, in conjunction with a sewing machine, completes the packaging, and breathable bags are used to protect the microbial agent.

Furthermore, self-made microbial agents require a shaker, fermentation tank, and testing equipment (colony counter, etc.) to ensure quality. Small-scale plants can simplify the configuration, while large-scale production requires an intelligent control system to monitor parameters and ensure stable compliance with standards.
