To reduce the frequency of maintenance and extend the overhaul cycle of disc granulation production lines, the core focus should be on controlling four aspects: raw material pretreatment, standardized equipment operation, daily protection, and spare parts selection. This addresses the root causes of wear, blockages, and malfunctions.
Raw material pretreatment is fundamental. The material must be ground to the required fineness, removing hard impurities such as stones and metal lumps to prevent scraping of the disc liners, scrapers, and gears. Strict control of moisture content is crucial; excessive moisture will cause the material to stick and clump, leading to frequent cleaning and increased liner wear, while insufficient moisture will exacerbate dust wear on bearings and reducers. A screening and iron removal device can be added to remove foreign objects in advance, significantly reducing the frequency of scraper and liner replacement.
Standardized operation of fertilizer production machine reduces human-caused damage. Heavy-load start-ups and shutdowns, and sudden increases or decreases in tilt angle and speed are strictly prohibited to prevent instantaneous impact cracking of gears and drive shafts. Controlling the feeding to be uniform and stable avoids uneven material accumulation on the disc, reducing stress and wear on support rollers and bearings. Operators strictly control the amount of material fed into the disc to prevent overflow and clogging, thus reducing scratches on the lining caused by manual shoveling.
Provide comprehensive sealing protection. Dustproof sealing sleeves are installed on the disc spindle, reducer, and roller bearings, and appropriate grease is added regularly to prevent dust from entering lubrication points. Dust covers are added to the motor and transmission gears to prevent powder adhesion and the formation of an abrasive layer, slowing down gear surface wear. After shutdown, promptly clean the accumulated material in the disc to prevent hardened material residue and avoid damage to transmission components from sudden load increases during the next startup.
Using wear-resistant and compatible parts can extend replacement cycles. The lining uses polyurethane wear-resistant plates, the scraper is made of wear-resistant alloy material, and the rollers are coated with wear-resistant rubber, significantly reducing wear rates compared to ordinary steel. Regularly adjust the disc level and roller clearance to prevent unilateral stress from accelerating component wear.
The simultaneous implementation of multiple measures effectively reduces the wear rate of bearings, liners, gears, and scrapers, significantly extending the service life of each component, significantly reducing the frequency of production line downtime for maintenance, and increasing continuous production time.
