They are best suited for the production of compound fertilizers, BB fertilizers, and NPK compound fertilizers. Various single nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium raw materials can be directly cold-pressed after being mixed in the correct proportions, resulting in high-hardness, uniform-appearance granules that meet the needs of conventional compound fertilizer production. The production process is short, and the investment cost is low. They are also very suitable for the production of organic fertilizers and bio-organic fertilizers. For fermented manure, straw, oilseed cake, and other organic materials, they can be directly extruded and granulated after crushing, avoiding the damage to microorganisms and organic matter caused by high-temperature drying, thus maximizing fertilizer efficacy and adapting to green organic farming.
They are also suitable for the production of slow-release and controlled-release fertilizers. Adding a slow-release agent to the raw materials allows for one-time forming, resulting in dense granules that are not easily broken, facilitating the slow release of nutrients. In addition, it can produce functional fertilizers such as micronutrient fertilizers, amino acid fertilizers, and humic acid fertilizers, as well as various blended fertilizers and organic-inorganic compound fertilizers. It is also compatible with raw materials that are susceptible to moisture and intolerant of high temperatures.
For materials with high salt content and poor viscosity, extrusion granulation is more suitable than wet disc or drum granulation. The entire line is environmentally friendly, producing no wastewater or exhaust gas. It has strong material adaptability, making it suitable for small and medium-sized fertilizer plants to switch production or expand capacity, and also suitable as a supporting component for large production lines. Overall, extrusion granulation covers almost all conventional fertilizer categories on the market, making it a mainstream granulation solution with strong applicability and high cost-effectiveness.
