I. Core Quality Inspection Checkpoint: Drum Screen and Belt Conveyor System
Entering the workshop (as shown in Figure 1), the most recognizable feature is the drum screen located at the rear. This massive machine, with its striking red end caps and yellow protective railings, is a crucial "quality control guardian" in the roller granulator production line. Below, the multi-layered green belt conveyors have been preliminarily installed, with some conveyor belts featuring anti-slip strip friction belts. These conveyors smoothly connect materials below the screening machine and tilt them upwards, forming a closed-loop network. In the roller granulation process, this efficient screening and recirculation system is crucial: it precisely separates large particles and fragments that do not meet the particle size requirements after granulation. The smaller particles and powder that pass through the screen are returned to the front end via a belt for secondary extrusion, achieving zero-waste recycling of raw materials.
II. Front-end Feeding and Auxiliary Equipment Turning the camera to the other side of the production line (as shown in Figure 2), the front-end feeding hopper, support platform, and power unit are already installed. The blue-gray drive motor in the lower left, along with the reducer, provides continuous and stable power to the entire conveyor belt. In the rear of the frame, a light gray rotary drum with yellow outer support rollers is clearly visible. According to the common process flow of roller granulation, this drum typically performs cooling, coating, or deep shaping functions for the material, further enhancing particle hardness and surface smoothness, ensuring the quality of the finished fertilizer during storage and transportation in Malaysia's hot and humid climate.
III. Tailoring to Local Conditions and Precisely Meeting the Needs of the Southeast Asian Market
As a major agricultural country, Malaysia possesses abundant agricultural waste resources such as palm oil, leading to a growing demand for high-quality compound fertilizers and organic-inorganic compound fertilizers. Compared to disc granulation, roller granulation offers significant advantages, including higher particle strength, better density, and the ability to directly produce high-concentration compound fertilizers. The small-to-medium-sized roller granulation production line customized by Huaqiang Heavy Industry for its Yong Peng client features a compact structure and small footprint, perfectly suited to the industrial layout needs of small and medium-sized fertilizer enterprises in Malaysia.
Currently, the main equipment is accurately positioned, and pipeline connections and motor power connections are proceeding smoothly. With the subsequent commissioning of the electrical control system, this roller granulation production line, integrating feeding, extrusion molding, screening, and coating, will soon be fully operational. This not only marks another fruitful achievement for Huaqiang Heavy Industry in the Southeast Asian market but will also inject strong "Chinese momentum" into the high-quality development of local agriculture. We will continue to follow the project's final commissioning.
