Tons Bag Fertilizer Packing Machine
The ton bag fertilizer packaging machine is an automated weighing and packaging equipment specifically designed for large-capacity FIBCs (megabags) with capacities ranging from 500-2000kg. It integrates electronic weighing, automatic bag removal, and dust removal. This equipment can be categorized into several types based on its level of automation, weighing method, and feeding method. According to automation level, it is divided into semi-automatic and fully automatic ton bag packaging machines. According to weighing method, it is divided into net weight type (material is weighed before filling) and gross weight type (material is directly placed into the bag and measured by sensors). According to feeding method, it is divided into gravity feeding (suitable for granular materials) and screw feeding (suitable for powdery materials).
The core technology of the ton bag fertilizer packaging machine lies in the organic combination of a "high-precision weighing system + fast and slow two-stage feeding + PLC intelligent control." The equipment uses a high-precision sensor as the weighing core, combined with fast and slow two-stage feeding control logic, ensuring metering accuracy while guaranteeing a high-flow filling speed. This equipment can flexibly configure the feeding method and contact material according to the physical characteristics of different fertilizers (granular or powdery, good or bad flowability, high or low corrosivity), and is the core equipment for standardized packaging of bulk fertilizers.
Equipment Structure
The system architecture of the ton bag fertilizer packaging machine mainly consists of the following layers:
(I) Feeding Execution Layer: Responsible for quantitatively conveying materials from the silo to the packaging bags. Depending on the material characteristics, gravity-fed feeding (granular materials are discharged via a pneumatic valve) or screw feeding (powder materials are forcibly fed via a horizontal screw) can be selected. Both methods are dual-station, multi-stage feeding, combining coarse and fine material feeding.
(II) Weighing Sensing Layer: Composed of high-precision weighing sensors, a weighing platform, a junction box, and a weighing instrument. The weighing frame is connected to the sensors, transmitting the material's weight signal to the electrical control system. The sensors use full-panel digital calibration and parameter setting, and have functions such as weight accumulation display, automatic tare, automatic zeroing, and automatic drop correction.
(III) Control Decision Layer: Uses a PLC programmable controller as the core. The PLC is responsible for receiving weighing sensor signals, executing control programs, processing data, and outputting control commands. The system is designed with both automatic and manual operation modes, which can be switched at will. It is equipped with a communication interface for easy online networking and networked management. (iv) Execution Feedback Layer: This layer includes the bag clamping mechanism, lifting mechanism, bag hanging mechanism (four hooks/ears), dust removal system, conveying system, and other actuators. Each actuator receives control commands from the PLC to complete the corresponding action. Sensors provide feedback on position and weight signals, forming a closed-loop control circuit.
Equipment operation method
(I) Weighing System Operation: Operators set parameters via the digital display panel, including target weight, fast feeding rate, and slow feeding rate.
(II) Automatic Operation Mode: The system enters automatic packaging mode upon startup. The system automatically completes the entire process, including bag clamping, bag blowing, feeding, metering and filling, venting, bag dropping, and conveying.
(III) Manual Operation Mode: Operators manually control each actuator for equipment debugging and troubleshooting.
(IV) Operation Monitoring: The system monitors weighing data and equipment operating status in real time. When an out-of-tolerance alarm or fault occurs, the system automatically alerts and locates the fault.
Equipment maintenance methods
(I) Weighing System Maintenance: Regularly calibrate the load cells. Check the junction box for moisture. Check that the sensors are securely installed to prevent vibration interference.
(II) Pneumatic System Maintenance: Check that the air supply pressure is within the range of 0.4-0.8 MPa. Check for aging of the cylinder seals. Clean any blockages in the air passages.
(III) Dust Collection System Maintenance: Regularly clean the dust collector filter or replace the filter element. Check the fan's operating status.Tons Bag Fertilizer Packing Machine

Equipment troubleshooting
Weighing system error: Check the sensor installation environment and install windproof and vibration-damping devices. Clean the sensor surface to remove adhering powder. Recalibrate using standard weights.
Bag clamping malfunction: Check if the air supply pressure is sufficient. Replace worn cylinder seals. Clean accumulated material from the bag clamping mechanism.
Poor dust removal efficiency: Clean or replace the dust collector filter element. Inspect and replace damaged seals. Check the fan's operating status.
Application of equipment in production line
The ton bag fertilizer packaging machine is used in the finished product packaging stage of a fertilizer production line. The equipment seamlessly integrates with the front-end hopper, elevator, rear-end conveyor, and palletizing equipment to form a complete automated packaging production line. The packaged ton bags are easy to handle with forklifts and loaded into containers, making them suitable for long-distance, large-volume fertilizer transportation.
