Daily Maintenance Cycle for NPK Blending Fertilizer Production Lines

2026/03/11

The NPK blending fertilizer produciton line, with its core processes of batching, mixing, packaging, and conveying, is maintained on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. This ensures stable operation of the NPK blending machine, extends its service life, and reduces the failure rate.

Daily Maintenance (Everyday): Before shift, check the power supply, instruments, and emergency stop switch for proper function; confirm that the hoppers are free of lumps and foreign objects; during operation, listen for abnormal noises, vibrations, and overheating. After shift, clean the inner walls of the mixer, batching hopper, and belt conveyor to remove residual material, sweep away dust, check all seals for leaks, keep the equipment clean, and prevent material from hardening and clumping.

Weekly Maintenance (Once a Week): Check the batching system sensors, pneumatic valves, and discharge gates for flexibility and reliability; tighten the anchor bolts and connecting bolts of the mixer, conveyor, and elevator; check belt tension and misalignment, and adjust the tensioning device; clean the dust collector filter element to ensure effective ventilation and dust removal; apply grease to bearings, chains, and other components.

Monthly Maintenance (once a month): Thoroughly inspect the mixer blades and liners for wear and clearance; check the metering system accuracy and calibrate it; check the pneumatic system pressure and piping for leaks, and ensure proper drainage and sewage discharge; check electrical wiring and terminals for looseness and overheating; focus on maintaining the automatic batching control system to ensure stable signals.

Quarterly/Semi-annual Maintenance: Disassemble and inspect the mixer's main shaft and bearings for wear; replace aged seals; overhaul the conveyor belt, bucket elevator buckets, and chains; maintain hydraulic and pneumatic components; thoroughly clean dust removal pipes and silos to prevent blockages.

Annual Maintenance: Complete overhaul of the entire machine, replacing severely worn parts; perform precision adjustments and performance testing on the entire production line; comprehensive maintenance of the electrical system, including control cabinets, wiring, and sensors.
