The core of fire and explosion prevention in a roller press granulator produciton line is dust control, static electricity prevention, prohibition of open flames, and strong ventilation. Following these points will meet the standards:
The entire production line should be a closed conveyor system. Pulse jet bag filters should be installed in the feeding, granulation, screening, and packaging sections to maintain negative pressure and control dust concentration below 30mg/m³ to prevent dust cloud formation. All fertilizer making machine, pipelines, silos, and dust collectors must be anti-static grounded, with flanges bridging and resistance meeting standards to prevent static sparks.
Open flames and smoking are strictly prohibited in the workshop. Electrical equipment must be dustproof and explosion-proof. Motors, control boxes, lighting, and switches must all meet explosion-proof standards. Unauthorized wiring and hot work are prohibited. Spark detection and extinguishing devices and explosion vents should be installed. Dust collectors should be equipped with explosion vents to prevent the spread of deflagration.
Control the material moisture content to 20%–35% to avoid excessive dryness and dust generation; regularly clean accumulated dust to prevent dust buildup. Forced ventilation is implemented in the workshop to ensure adequate air exchange and unobstructed passageways. Sufficient dry powder fire extinguishers and fire sand are provided, and emergency response procedures are established. Operators receive pre-job training, must wear anti-static clothing and protective gear, and are strictly prohibited from wearing spiked shoes or synthetic fiber clothing.
