Fertilizer press granulators(also known as dry roller press granulators) are hailed as core equipment for "green granulation." With their minimalist approach of "high-pressure molding, no drying required," they have fundamentally changed the energy consumption structure, environmental indicators, and product form of the traditional fertilizer industry.
In terms of energy consumption, compared to the traditional wet granulation process that requires a large amount of heat energy for drying, the dry production process can reduce energy consumption by more than 30%, significantly reducing production costs and carbon emission pressure for enterprises. Regarding environmental indicators, because there is no need to add water or perform drying, the fertilizer produciton line does not generate large amounts of dust-laden wastewater or harmful gas emissions during production. This effectively solves environmental problems commonly found in traditional granulation processes, such as dust pollution and eutrophication of water bodies, helping fertilizer companies achieve clean production and green transformation.
In terms of product form, by precisely controlling the rolling strength and die aperture, granular fertilizers of different specifications, regular shapes and moderate hardness can be produced. This not only improves the fertilizer's anti-caking and flowability, making it easier to store, transport and apply by mechanization, but also allows for the customization of nutrient release rates according to the needs of different crops and soils, improving fertilizer utilization and promoting the upgrading of fertilizer products towards high efficiency and functionality.
