The organic fertilizer disk granulator machine is the core forming equipment in a disc granulation produciton line. It undertakes the crucial process of "converting uniformly mixed powdery materials into qualified granules," directly determining the qualification rate, strength, and subsequent drying efficiency of the finished granules. It is the central hub connecting the mixing and drying processes.
Its core role is mainly reflected in three points, directly affecting the overall production line's capacity and product quality:
1. Forming Core, Determining Product Shape: Powdered organic fertilizer (including composted materials and auxiliary materials) needs to be agglomerated into highly spherical, uniformly sized granules (typically 2-8mm) through the centrifugal force of the rotating disc and the wetting effect of spray slurry. Without this equipment, organic fertilizer cannot be granulated, failing to meet the storage, transportation, and application requirements of commercial organic fertilizer.
2. Efficiency Hub, Linking Up and Down Processes: The granulation efficiency (hourly capacity 0.5-50 tons) of the disc granulator directly matches the output of the preceding twin-shaft mixer and the processing capacity of the subsequent dryer. Adjustments to parameters such as speed and tilt angle allow for flexible adaptation to different capacity requirements, making it crucial for the continuous and stable operation of the entire production line.
3. Quality Criterion, Affecting Finished Product Value: Its granulation effect (particle roundness, strength, and breakage rate) directly determines the grade of the finished organic fertilizer. A high-quality disc granulator can achieve a particle roundness ≥85% and a breakage rate ≤5%, reducing dust loss during the drying process and improving product marketability. Poor granulation results in brittle particles and more impurities after drying, reducing the product's added value.
