Operating Precautions for Organic Fertilizer Disk Granulator Machine

2025/12/11

The core of operating an organic fertilizer disk granulator machine in a organic fertilizer disc granulation produciotn line is to stably control the matching of "material moisture, disc parameters, and feeding speed," which directly determines granulation efficiency and particle quality. The following are key operating precautions, covering the entire process from startup to operation and shutdown:

1. Before starting: Confirm that the disc support rollers, transmission gears, and bearings are adequately lubricated, that the bolts are not loose, and that the gap between the scraper and the inner wall of the disc is uniform.

2. Parameter preset calibration: Based on material characteristics (optimal moisture content 45%-60%), preset the disc inclination angle (typically 35°-45°; decrease the angle for larger particles, increase the angle for smaller particles) and rotation speed (typically 15-30 r/min, matching the capacity of the preceding mixer).

3. Real-time monitoring during operation: Use a quantitative screw conveyor for feeding; the speed must match the disc capacity to avoid material accumulation and insufficient granulation due to excessive feeding, or reduced capacity due to insufficient feeding.

4. Particle size monitoring: Regularly sample and check the particle size (target 2-8mm). If the particles are too large, the disc inclination angle or rotation speed can be appropriately increased; if the particles are too small, the inclination angle can be reduced, the rotation speed lowered, or the amount of spraying liquid increased.

5. Post-shutdown maintenance: After shutdown, thoroughly clean the equipment. Immediately rinse the inner wall of the disc, scraper, and feed port with clean water to remove residual material and prevent material from drying and sticking to the wall, which would increase equipment wear during the next startup.

6. Safety operating guidelines: Do not put hands or tools into the disc while the equipment is running. Cleaning of sticky material requires stopping the machine and cutting off the power. Avoid prolonged operation without load (which can easily lead to wear of the support rollers and deformation of the disc). After starting, feed a small amount of material first, and then gradually increase the feeding speed.
