Bridging the gap between NPK blending and organic fertilizer production, the twin-shaft organic fertilizer mixer serves as a critical hub for the mixing process. This equipment features two parallel shafts equipped with spiral blades or paddles, rotating synchronously in opposite directions. Driven by the twin shafts, materials undergo shearing, compression, and convective forces from two directions, resulting in mixing intensity significantly higher than that of single-shaft equipment. Twin-shaft mixers are particularly well-suited for handling high-fiber and highly viscous organic materials; the inner walls of the mixing chamber are typically lined with a smooth, corrosion-resistant coating to effectively prevent material adhesion. In the production of bio-organic fertilizer, the twin-shaft mixer achieves uniform mixing at relatively low temperatures, preventing the loss of functional microbial activity caused by heat buildup from excessive agitation. This mixer is frequently paired with a disc granulator: raw material powder is evenly moistened by atomized water within the twin-shaft mixer to form uniform seed granules, which are then fed into the granulation disc.
Once the uniformly mixed material enters the granulation stage, the disc granulator serves as the primary equipment for granule formation. Its core component is an inclined circular disc; as material rotates within, it moves in a spiral pattern driven by centrifugal force, friction, and gravity. Through the spraying of a solution or water, the moistened material binds into granules via movement and compression, eventually spilling over the disc's edge. Featuring an integrated arc-shaped structure, the granulator achieves a granulation rate exceeding 93%. The disc's inclination angle is typically adjustable between 40 and 50 degrees, and the rotation speed can be set as required. By precisely controlling water spray volume and disc rotation speed, the equipment performs granulation at ambient temperatures, ensuring that functional microbes remain active and undamaged by heat. From the precise physical blending of NPK mixers and the powerful homogenization of twin-shaft mixers to the efficient granulation of disc granulators, this comprehensive equipment suite offers a flexible, high-performance solution for the diversified production of blended and bio-organic fertilizers.
